Have you noticed?  What is missing and missing, more and more? Try the Middle Class!  Saw a report the other week that stated that the Middle Class has lost more than 1/3rd of it’s constituents!!! Where, oh where, do you think they went?  Moved ‘on up’ to the East Side?  Living with the Morebucks in Easyland?  Sorry to disappoint you, but they went South, not East.  Sadly, these once ‘Middle-Classers’ are now to be found downward, with those nearer the poverty level. A happening that has never happened before in thee history of this great nation, but has happened now.  Tack this on to the challenge of more and more jobs being lost, and can you start to connect the dots?  The unemployment level is above 9%, and may well be sustained for the rest of this year.  Studying history, my assessment is that this country will NEVER see unemployment, as defined by ‘not having a job’, to never again drop to below the 5% level.  Never.  And why might that be? What some might call an ‘old cliché’, the one that trumpets the following thought, “those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”, just became quite evident to me recently.  In a conversation with my friend Rick S., we were talking ‘economics’ (surprise!) and I made the comment that last year (2010) it was reported that China had purchased some 300 tons (yes, TONS!!!) of gold. Although I have known this fact for some time, and have repeated it in conversations many times, a neuron in my brain (that I guess had been in a long stupor) woke up…and gave me a ‘headline’!  What China had done implied one Major Truth: and that is that the Chinese have adopted the role of the Tory!  Now, if you have read the Primer that will raise your financial i.q. – then you know what is meant.  For the Chinese used OUR Fiat Currency, an excess of it (must be excess…for they hold over $1.2 Trillion Samoleons) and used it to purchase gold.  Just as the Tories did back in the 1770’s, they play the ‘game’ of using our Fiat Currency (dollars) in the business world and use the excess to buy specie.  For those of you that do not know the history of the Whigs/Tories…only one implication can be made: China’s leaders know, without a doubt, that one day soon…the World Reserve Currency, the U.S. Dollar, will fall into 100% dis- repute and be worth nothing!  Then, those that hold specie will hold the power in the business world. As was to be expected, what we call  ‘Leadership’ in Washington D.C. has passed a budget bill they are touting as leading us to the ‘land of prosperity and less indebtedness’.  To that there is only one retort:  BULL-PUCKY!!!

As has occurred in the past, and will no doubt occur again in the near future, the American public has had the screws put to them.  Even worse, the majority of the masses do not have in inkling of what ‘really’ happened.  What has happened is that, once more, through closed-door meetings, the ‘Elite’ (that is how they subconsciously see themselves) baked a ‘cake’ to their desire, their taste.  And…it is you, my Friends, and I that will be asked to foot the bill for the ingredients.  I err…not ‘asked to’…rather, ‘told to’… Read more

The Rich get Richer…the Poor continue to get Poor.

Another illustration of this poignant Truth just read in Saturdays paper.  In the business section, article titled ‘Job market stagnates as corporate profits soar’.  Consider; in the past ten years, international corporations shed over 2.9 million jobs here in the US.  And, overseas, created some 2.5 million jobs. Here in the U.S. worker productivity rose. Why? How about people being scared of losing their jobs…so they do more and more, faster and faster.  Net result: increased productivity.  Also, pay raises are next to nothing.  Why? Duh…do you think there are a couple of people lined outside that would take that job for even less? So…no pressure to make a decent pay raise. Read more

Headline: ‘ The Rich keep getting Richer; the Poor keep getting Poorer’.

Most read that, then sadly agree…it is too true.  What most never consider is: if they are not one of the ‘Rich getting Richer’…then by default, they must be one of the ‘Poor getting Poorer’.  Worse, since they never consider that they are one of the Poor, they do not see the necessity of doing something about it.  For who would wish to remain in that economic state?

Today we hear and read that our Congress is going to deal with the Debt Limit.  The two sides have staked out their demands…made a lot of headlines…but watch what finally comes to be: the Debt Limit will be raised.  Oh, what is a measly two or so Trillion Samoleons? For those that understand how Fractional Banking works…make that Twenty or so Trillion Samoleons that will work their way into the economy.

Are you aware that just since 2001 the U.S. Dollar has lost 50% of it’s buying power?  Oh…yes indeedie!  T. Jefferson’s ‘Hidden Tax’ at work…a gift to you from our Congress.

Change IS coming…Border’s just announced it is going out of business.  11,000 or so newly minted ‘jobless’ tossed into the fray of the unemployed.  And…surely they did not see this coming.

Just thought some of you might like to know why you seem to be getting poorer, even though you have a job.  Keep on doing what you have been doing…and you will ‘pay’ for it.  Understand, whether or not you make a change, or better yet, an addition, to what you are doing…you will pay for it, one way or another.  Do something that creates additional income, utilizing the Information Age processes…and you pay.  With a little time, a little money.  But, the R.O.I. can be substantial.  Do nothing more than what you do today, and you will ‘pay’; you will have less time to do what you ‘want to do’ and you will pay more to do whatever it is you will do.  What sounds best to you?

Couple of days before the 4th…and I thought it time to write a short ‘read’ that has been running around inside my mind these past couple of weeks.  Has to do with a recent headline in the local rag, which ran like this: “Poor get poorer, Rich get richer”.  Article made mention of how those that feed at the lower end of the food chain were going to be getting 8% less in benefit, here in California.  On the one hand, my heart goes out to them. On the other hand, my mind ponders why they have made the decision to stay in this position. This situation is not necessary; rather, for the most, it is a present day truth due to the choices they have made, and will make.  All of life and the circumstances each of us incur is based solely upon ‘Choices’, is it not? How neat!

I received several calls in the last day or two regarding the last Omega Report, citing the mis-spelling of a word.  That word is found the first sentence of the fourth paragraph; specifically, “…that hosing is STILL…”.  Really meant to use the word ‘housing’.  But…for those who like to laugh and have fun…I might have been writing from my ‘unconscious’ mind (rather than my conscious mind)…since  those that still believe that ‘housing’ will resurrect…are still taking a ‘hosing’!  LOL!!! Like it or not, and none of really do ‘like’ it, housing is, and will maintain, a downward spiral, economically speaking. All due to one central issue: our Fiat Currency!!! Read more

A lot has happened during the past month, and most of these happenings would seem to indicate that our economy is still engaged in a period of transformation. And, that is exactly what I wrote would happen four or five years ago. After all, it is really just ‘in the numbers’. I hearken back some 200-plus years ago, to when Thomas Jefferson wrote to his contemporaries and made the comment that ‘he feared the concept of the Central Bank more than standing armies, since in the end, first through deflation, then inflation, they…the Central Bank…would own all’. Those are not his ‘exact’ words…but my paraphrase is about 99.9% on the mark. And…just what have we…the country we call the United States…witnessed over the past months/years? Read more
